This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
DST Group has a requirement to introduce some changes to its Windows COEs to support modernization activities on its Research Networks.
These changes are:
1. Upgrade the existing Windows 10 COE to Windows 10 21H2 and perform an in-place upgrade of existing Windows 10 machines to the newer Windows 10 21H2 COE
2. Removal or disabling of IE11 from the Windows 10 COE and existing machines – either as part of the in-place upgrade to Windows 10 21H2 or a part of separate change activity
3. Release a Windows Server 2022 COE to production
Both these change activities will leverage Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)).
The following high-level tasks are required:
1. Work in with the DSTG BAU operations team to finalise the development of the new Windows 10 21H2 COE and options for removal or disabling of IE11
2. Work in the with DSTG BAU operations team to finalise the development of the new Windows Server 2022 COE
3. Lead testing activities taking into consideration existing security and compliance applications deployed to the DSTG COE and verify their correct working operation with Windows 10 21H2 and Windows Server 2022. Work with other support teams in DSTG to gather information on their testing requirements for Windows 10 21H2 and Windows Server 2022
4. Verify application of group policy hardening templates and any changes required to the templates to align with ASCS guidelines
5. Assist in package and deploying required applications and security features and settings to the new COEs
6. Lead change activities for the release of Windows 10 21H2 upgrade and Windows Server 2022 upgrades including Helpdesk and customer communications, change approvals and pilot testing
7. Remediate and assess pilot deployment
