Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network that connects our 2.3 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources, delivering an essential service to our community.

The Scope

Western Power is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations, for the provision of (but not limited to):

• Underground construction services including directional drilling;
• Cable installation including jointing, terminations and connection;
• Civil services including trenching, excavation and general construction activities;
• Service location;
• Installation of ground mounted and substation equipment;
• Maintenance and replacement of streetlights throughout the network, and
• Other electrical services (including installation of consumer’s mains/pillars, conductors and busbars).

Registration Requirements

Suppliers are required to respond to the following for the ROI submission:

• Demonstrate a track record and capability in delivering services in line with the above noted items;
• Provide at least three customers and contact details that your company have delivered similar services to that being requested, and
• Safety, Health and Environment information to evidence the ‘Safety Culture’ of your organisation including relevant safety reporting data for at least the previous three years.
