Provision of Property and Building Maintenance Services

The Town of Cambridge wishes to appoint a suitably qualified Building Maintenance Contractor to provide Property and Building Maintenance Services in relation to the Town’s assets.

Once appointed, the successful Respondent may be engaged on an as needed basis by the Town, via the issuing of an Order identifying the specific nature, location and extent of the Services required in relation to a nominated property or properties.

Performance of the work specified in the Order will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Services Agreement between the Town and the relevant supplier. The fee(s) for the supply of the specified Services specified in the Order will be calculated in accordance with the agreed Schedule of Rates contained in each Services Agreement.

The specification will cover Property and Building Maintenance Services, as stated in sections 2.3 and 2.4, and includes the provision of: Preventative Maintenance, Breakdown/Reactive Maintenance, After Hours Service for Maintenance and Repair coverage and New Minor Works. A full statement of the services required under the proposed contract appears in the Specifications. Work shall be awarded to Contractor based on the following criteria:

· Type of Service Required;

· Hire rate or Quoted Cost;

· Availability of Operator and timeline;

· Reliability of Contractor; and

· Work performance.
