Tender Description
The City of Newcastle is seeking an experienced Fine Art Handler to move the Newcastle Art Gallery Artwork Collection from Laman Street Newcastle into adequate, secure, pest-controlled, humidity-controlled and temperature-controlled storage. It is expected that storage will be required from March 2022 until June 2024 for 7130 artworks. The return of the Artworks to Newcastle Art Gallery and or local storage in 2024 will also need to be costed as part of this tender process. The City of Newcastle reserves the right without penalty or increase to shorten or extend the storage period with reasonable notice to the contractor.
Persons willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract are invited to submit a tender to the Council by the deadline, 2pm on Tuesday 22nd February 2022. A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on Tuesday 8th February 2022 at 11am at The Art Gallery.
