Tender Description
Inner West Council is planning energy upgrade projects at various aquatic centres.
The non-negotiable objectives of the projects are to:
• Substantially reduce energy consumption
• Reduce or eliminate the use of greenhouse gases (including natural gas and high GWP refrigerants)
• Improve patron experience (reliable water and air temperatures, reduce chloramines, improve air flow)
Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitable providers that are able to design the upgrading of Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre (AKAC).
Project Scope:
The consultant’s role will be to:
• Confirm the feasibility and cost estimates of the recommended options
• Develop the recommended options into a concept design for discussion with Council and its advisors
• Develop a detailed design for discussion with Council and its advisors
• Develop a specification that can be included in the construction tender
• Option Supervise and/or validate the construction
Tenderers are expected to attend an online Project Briefing at 3pm on Tuesday 8 Feb
