This project is to enable the ACCC to manage, report on and reduce the usage cost of Azure services. This project will be undertaken in two stages:
Stage One
The investigation and evaluation of the ACCC’s Azure environment and provision of a report outlining the potential methods of both controlling and reporting on Azure costs incurred. Based on the findings from the investigation of the ACCC’s Azure environment, the report will need to contain a minimum of two methods or approaches for controlling Azure costs:
a) Using the native Azure tools that could include, but is not limited to, implementing resource tagging and using the Azure cost management and billing service; and
b) Using third party products or services.
Stage Two
The ACCC will have the option of continuing with stage two which is the implementation of their chosen option outlined in the report from Stage One.
