Rous County Council (Rous) manages and maintains a regional network of dams, treatment plants and water mains that distribute potable water to storage reservoirs located at key locations throughout the supply district. At the heart of this network lies the Nightcap Water Treatment Plant Raw Water Pump Station.
The NCWTP Raw Water Pump Station jetty sits above the water on the south east edge of Rocky Creek Dam in Dorroughby, NSW (DP1112836). The structure is supported by nine piles and is connected to land by a narrow bridge. The NCWTP Raw Water Pump Station is the source of raw water for the adjoining Nightcap Water Treatment Plant and hence, most of the Northern Rivers region.
Tenders are invited from organisations to erect scaffolding and encapsulate, sandblast, prepare and repaint.
