Tender Description
The Department is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) T2001-0505 for the provision of minor works to undertake construction approximately 35 kilometres of mapped trailbike track in the Neerim State forest.
This RFT seeks the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to construct this new track network and close existing track non-compliant track network to significantly reduce the risk and potential for serious injury crushes for recreational users in the Neerim State Forest – Latrobe District, Gippsland.
Works include but limited to: Tree removal; Track Construction (as per Tech Spec) via Vegetation Slashing and Mulching; Culvert Installations (minimal); Sourcing & Installation of Directional Guide Posts.
Mapping of the test area (to be used for accurate pricing) will be made available to tenderers when they register for the tender briefing via the Project Manager. Tenderers are recommended to register ASAP.
The test area identifies a 5km section of track that is representational of track features across the entire 35km (approx.), which will improve pricing accuracy.

An On-Site Tender Briefing has been scheduled for the 3rd February, 1 pm at the Latrobe Trailbike Unloading Area, Latrobe River Road.
