Margaret Court Arena – LED Lighting Upgrade, Installation
The Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust (MOPT) are currently preparing for an upgrade of the existing sports lighting infrastructure within Margaret Court Arena.
MOPT have appointed a supplier for the required LED luminaires and controllers and are now seeking to appoint an electrical contractor to carry out the installation, testing, and commissioning works.
The successful contractor will be required to demonstrate experience in delivering similar upgrade projects to a high standard, and experience in managing projects around a busy events schedule. The timeline for installation is currently from September to November 2022.
The scope of works under this contract will include:
- Replacement of existing fittings with new LED fittings (to be supplied by MOPT) including the supply of required brackets.
- Disposal of all existing, redundant sports lighting infrastructure.
- Programming in conjunction with LED Supplier and other contractors.
- All cabling and electrical works.
- Commissioning and testing.
- Onboarding and managing subcontractors required to deliver the works as required.
