VET Data Streamlining – Business Analyst
DESE is leading the development of a new vocational education and training (VET) data collection and reporting system. The VET Data Streamlining (VDS) program will transform the national VET data system to increase the timeliness and quality of data collection and use. DESE is working with partner state and territory governments and the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) to deliver this initiative through several strands of work over the next few years.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to assist with the technology aspects of the VDS Build.
The key deliverables of the roles include:
• Represent policy/ business interests in a large-scale ICT project
• Liaise with the ICT build team to ensure ICT design, development, testing and prioritisation meets business requirements
• Initiate and run workshops and meetings with business users to gather requirements and confirm deliverables
• Produce artifacts that can be used to progress requirements via an official governance process
