Tender Description
SPS 266 Grey Street Sewage Pump Station – Phase 2 Victoria Bridge Sewer Rising Mains
Scope of Works
Brisbane Move is seeking EOIs from suitably qualified companies for the construction of the Phase 2 Victoria Bridge Sewer Rising Mains as part of the Brisbane Metro Project. The proposed works are for the supply and installation of 3 nos grade 324mm OD, 316 stainless-steel (AS4041) schedule 40 spiral welded pipes across the Brisbane river. The 3 new stainless sewer pipes are to be installed beneath the Victoria Bridge outside of the existing box girders, utilising the existing openings in the bridge structure. In each abutment to the bridge there are manifolds to connect to the 3 pipes and existing sewer to a single pipe.
The Phase 2 scope is part of a larger sewer network allowing high flows to be pumped from an existing pump station located in South Brisbane through the newly constructed phase 1B on the Southbank side of the river (installed by others), Phase 2 this scope and Phase 3 scope on the city side (installed by others).
Once the network is connected and functioning it will provide a wet weather overflow for South Brisbane that will feed into the main Brisbane sewer network.
The awarded Subcontractor will be responsible for the whole of the infrastructure scope of works therefore partial scopes submissions may not be considered.
The scope of works comprises, but is not limited, to the following:
