Homes Victoria is intending to release a Request for Tender or Request for Proposal in January 2022 to provide Quantity Surveying services for a Big Housing Build project in Geelong. This will be a select tender process called from pre-qualified Consultants on the Construction Supplier Register. The project will include the delivery of approximately 50 new dwellings in a multi-residential, low-rise development on existing land owned by the Director of Housing.

Contract award is expected in Quarter 1 2022.

The Government’s Local Jobs First policy and Social Procurement Framework apply to this procurement. Tender participants will need to complete a Local Industry Development Plan (LIDP) as part of Local Jobs First requirements. The Major Project Skills Guarantee (MPSG) and Apprenticeships Victoria requirements also apply to this procurement. These commitments will need to be included within the LIDP.
