Tender Description
- Demolish and remove 2 x public cricket nets (west side – concrete wicket and fence surround)
- Demolish remove fencing of turf cricket area.
- Redevelop 4 x synthetic cricket nets (1-4) on the eastern side of the turf wickets, with the addition of a further two synthetic nets (5-6). (All synthetic nets to be black chain meshing)
- New fencing for turf wickets (black chain mesh for rear and provision for soft pull out netting internal). Provision for turf area to be split into 4 bays.
- Provision of turf wicket area to be closed to public with lockable gates
- Include provision for roofing net over.
- Full synthetic run up pad to be included for both the turf and synthetic areas with crease markings.
- Cricket Australia Facility Guidelines to be adhered to for practise wickets. See sizes and dimensions.
- Utilise a high grade synthetic surface for each of the wickets, lower grade can be installed for surrounds.
- Synthetic pitch strips to be laid as a different colour from surrounding synthetic surface.
- Rubber fence backing to installed at the rear of each net (turf and synthetic) behind the batsmen.
- Top of net rail to be erected on top of fencing at bowlers run up to stop balls being bowled over the nets.
- Include provision for power for bowling machine use. See drawings for location and power source.
- Install a curator storage shed (20m2) on western side of the turf wickets with roller door.
