ABOUT THE CITY OF LAKE MACQUARIE:
Lake Macquarie is the Hunter Region's largest city, accounting for 38% of the Lower Hunter population. With the city's current population fast approaching 210,000 Lake Macquarie is also the third largest regional city in New South Wales by population. Moreover, the city's population is expected to grow by 28,000 by 2036, creating a demand for 13,500 new dwellings and associated infrastructure.

ABOUT THE TENDER:
Council is seeking to establish a panel of suitably qualified and experienced Service Providers for the hire of small plant items available to meet Council's varying operational needs in a cost effective and timely manner, for requirements that cannot be met by Council's own trucks, plant and equipment for a period of two years with three x 12 month extension options available.
