Tender Description
The Aotearoa NZ Adult Medicine Division Education Committee (AoNZ AMDEC) seeks expressions of interest from Adult Medicine Fellows for the position of Deputy Chair.
The AoNZ AMDECs key responsibilities are to:
- implement the College’s education policy and strategic direction in relation to education in the Adult Medicine Division in Aotearoa New Zealand
- ensure standardisation in basic and advanced training delivery across all specialty areas
- ensure all forms of assessment are conducted fairly, efficiently and in a transparent manner and in accordance with College standards
- ensure accreditation is conducted fairly, efficiently, in a transparent manner and in accordance with College standards
- advise the College Education Committee (CEC) on education policy and program development for training programs as appropriate
- work collaboratively with specialty societies and other key stakeholders on education development and deliver
- monitor basic and advanced training program requirements and curricula, recommending changes to the CEC.
The Committee holds 1 kanohi ki te kanohi | face-to-face meeting at the RACP office in Wellington and up to 5 video conferences a year.
The College meets the travel costs of Committee members. The next meeting is face-to-face in Wellington in March 2022.
