Tender Description
Council is seeking respondents to provide three automatic gates, one personnel gate and security fencing for the Bundaberg North Depot Facility located at Botanic Gardens. This RFQ requires the construction and installation of services to accommodate daily access to the site and security after hours. North Depot facilities to remain open during construction with the work area to be defined upon awarding of the contract.
Inclusions:
• Supply and installation of 3 commercial automatic cantilever gates and 1 personnel gate for Bundaberg North Depot. Gates to be all hot dip galvanised to a height of 1800mm with SecuraTop or equivalent to height of 2100mm. Gates opening to be 7.5m.
• Gate technology to include but not limited to telephone and intercom access equipment, card readers, cameras, CCTV, phone entry systems or access controllers that operate from RF remotes
• Install access control entry bollards. The post to be fitted for the purpose of truck and car entry heights (dual height bollard). Card reader and RF remote receiver to allow entry to users.
• Concrete pads and footings for fencing and gates are to be completed by contractor to AS 3600
• Current Dial Before You Dig and Service Locations checked and located by supplier.
• Excavation for footings and removal of spoil.
• Geotechnical site classifications as required for structures
• Provide council reliable equipment of the latest technology for Gate Automation Security Systems (Optic Security is councils preferred supplier). Council requests respondents to contact Optic Security to assess requirements for the project and infrastructure for the gate installations.
