Tender Description
This tender is for undertaking Minor Civil Works at various locations within MidCoast Council as part of Council's operations. Council presently has a range of panel contracts that cover services such as bitumen sealing, asphalt, stabilising , and concrete contracting. This contract is to compliment Council's other contracts to enable Council to implement its Delivery Program and Operational Plan effectively. Works shall include, but not be limited to; bulk earthworks, construction of road pavement, stormwater drainage, sediment and erosion control, landscaping, retaining walls, fencing, and signposting. Each separable portion's scope of works will be defined prior to quotes being obtained from suitable company's placed upon the Panel Contract.
The Contract will run for a one (1) year period from 1st March 2022, or date of awarding contract, to 28th February 2023. The Contract is a Panel Contract.
During the operation of the Contract, Council intends to add additional suitable companies to the Contract through an advertising process that is in compliance with the Local Government Tendering requirements. This RFT is the fourth readvertising of the panel contract to add additional companies to the panel. It is planned to advertise a new RFT in late 2022 for a new contract to commence upon conclusion of the existing panel contract.
