This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Digital Delivery and Assurance team is responsible for planning, scheduling and supporting software delivery from development through to production as well as ensuring software solutions are reliable and accurate.
The responsibilities of this section are as follows:
• The management of application deployments from development through the continuous delivery pipeline (CDP) to Production.
• Environmental support and troubleshooting.
• The constant development, implementation and review of release governance processes
• Administration of the Digital Change Authority (formerly known as CAB).
• Automated testing and Quality Assurance governance.
• Continuous refinement and innovation of DevOps tools and processes.
As a member of the Digital Delivery & Assurance Team the successful candidate will be required to:
• Develop Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD in development environments.
• Work closely with developers, testers and release management staff.
• Input into the development of new corporate Change Management processes for the new DevOps world.
• Performing source code management operations using IP Australia’s Version Control Tool, Subversion, GitHub ensuring adherence to IPA code management policies.
• Automate and orchestrate deployment and provisioning tasks into containerised and cloud environments.
• Analysing and resolving software configuration issues in environments you are responsible for.
• Providing software configuration support for development and test environments.
uilding release kits, including all relevant documentation, and managing distribution and deployment to pre-Production and production environments in accordance with corporate Change Management processes.
• Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with Configuration Management Plans, Policies and/or Standards for all of the above responsibilities.
• Support Continuous Improvements to the automation of the Continuous Delivery pipeline.
Applicants must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and able to work effectively across multi-discipline teams. Applicants are expected to be proactive and motivated to build their corporate knowledge of the complex business and technical areas at IP Australia, relevant to their role.
