Expression of Interest: GPs to co-design virtual urgent paediatric care model

⁠⁠⁠North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network is seeking 2 GPs to participate in 4 co-design sessions as part of a project to develop an integrated virtual urgent paediatric care model. GPs will be reimbursed $145 per hour for their participation in the sessions.

The purpose of this project is to co-design the development of an integrated virtual urgent paediatric care model for piloting across north western Melbourne. This co-design project will engage all three major health services in the area including The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital (Western Health), and Werribee Mercy Hospital.

The project is being led by the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in partnership with North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN). The co-design will involve a series of up to four co-design sessions with paediatric specialists, GPs, ED staff, health service executives and heads of department, and consumer advocates.
