Tender Description
The Industrial Drain is a vital section of the stormwater infrastructure network of Byron Bay. At the bottom of the open sections of this Drain, the natural presence of various reeds and other plant species, when overgrown, poses the risk of obstructing the stormwater flows. In order to maintain favourable flow conditions, it is necessary to eliminate the excessive reed growth.
Specifically, a rubber tracked excavator with a mulching/mowing head is required to mow the reeds down to the creek bed as shown in the tender documentation.
