Western Victoria PHN is offering grants up to $200,000.00 (exc GST).
The Access to After Hours AOD and Mental Health Services Grants provide opportunities for Western Victoria PHN commissioned AOD and mental health providers to increase capacity through extension of their opening hours to support increased demand experienced as a result of COVID- 19. Preference will be given to those commissioned AOD and mental health providers that currently provide extended opening hours and/or those who are willing to trial extended opening hours for 12 months to explore feasibility post Western Victoria PHN funding.
Project activities supported under the Access to After Hours AOD and Mental Health Services Grants include, but are not limited to:
- Expansion or enhancement of existing after hours AOD and/ or mental health services, for example extension of after hours opening hours and/ or expansion of services available after hours.
- Piloting new after hours AOD and/ or mental health services that respond to the needs of the community
- Piloting virtual after hours AOD and/ or mental services. This could involve the use of telehealth for patients to access an AOD and/ or mental health clinician after hours, or a combination of telehealth and face to face services.
