About the MAV
The Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) is the peak representative and lobbying body for Victoria's 79 councils. The MAV’s role includes lobbying for a 'fairer deal' for councils and their communities, raising the sector's profile, ensuring its long-term security and providing policy advice, strategic advice, insurance and procurement services to local government.

Description of Goods and/or Services to be Provided
MAV is now inviting tenders from suppliers for MAV2021-01 - The provision of Liability Mutual Insurance Scheme Service Provider Services.
The Liability Mutual Insurance (LMI) Scheme has four (4) Services Areas:
a) Reinsurance broking
b) Claims management
c) Risk management services
d) General administration and underwriting services
The Contract period shall be for a term of five (5) years and five (5) months with the option of MAV granting a further two (2) x two (2) year extensions.
MAV is seeking to establish multiple suppliers or a sole supplier contract/s across the four Service Areas of the LMI Scheme.
