This position will offer the right candidate the opportunity to work with the DTA’s Sourcing Platforms team on new and exciting developments for BuyICT.
Software testing experience is not required, rather we are looking for an interest in digital and IT systems, an ability to problem solve and a willingness to learn. The right candidate will be a team player, with a sense of accountability and high attention to detail. This role would suit someone with experience in troubleshooting and communicating with developers.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Test features and changes in BuyICT, in close collaboration with developers and product managers
• Detect, track, and clearly communicate any bugs and inconsistencies
• Develop and maintain detailed testing documentation
• Work within an agile framework and be willing to pivot quickly to changing priorities
Please note that the Sourcing Platforms team is largely working remotely for the foreseeable future. This presents a challenge for engaging with team members that a successful candidate will have to navigate. The successful candidate will initially be required to work remotely, in the longer term onsite, as part of the team at the DTA. The successful candidate will attend and actively participate in meetings as required and deliver work in a self-managing multi-disciplined team environment. A condition of engagement is that proposed personnel have the required resources to work remotely. Additional expenses incurred by Supplier-proposed personnel will not be accepted by the DTA.
