Tender Description
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for Transportable Road Safety Camera Solution.
The objectives that must be achieved include:
- Improving road safety in Queensland by targeting road users disobeying the speed limit in risk assessed locations in accordance with Legislative requirements;
- Facilitating the enforcement of Offences;
- Encouraging safe, compliant and responsible driving in Queensland; and
- Meeting community expectations that an effective and efficient camera enforcement Solution will be in operation.
Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include (In Scope):
- The SOA and any subsequent Contract(s) for Transportable Road Safety Camera Solution will cover the following requirements (see PART B – Draft SOA Details and QITC Contract – Schedule TMR1 Requirements for full details):
- Project Management including activity planning, resource management and coordination;
- Development of Transition-In Plan ("Project Plan");
- Supply and installation of Camera Systems (Hardware-as-a-Service);
- Site fit-out and provision of camera equipment together with associated energy supply and structural support for camera housings and associated equipment;
- Provision of Software-as-a-Service;
- Telecommunication systems including data communications;
- Integration to extract required data from the Solution; and
- Ad hoc ICT Professional Services as required.
It does not include (Out of Scope):
- In-vehicle Behaviour Monitoring Systems
