⁠⁠⁠Position Purpose

As a Network Administrator, you will become pivotal in the support and operation of the Agency’s Data Networks and Unified Communication platforms. Working closely with the Engineers, you will work collaboratively with ICT Operations and the Agency more broadly, at the fore front of technological advances. This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimising all new and existing network and communications systems.

You’ll be assigned tasks, as well as assisting the broader team, leveraging your knowledge and experience to resolve issues and deliver innovations. You will be comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical people and have the right attitude towards adopting new technologies and expanding your professional knowledge. The position requires maintaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Duties

• Support the Agency’s data network services.
• Assist in the deployment and installation of a new network platform.
• Provide support for virtual network platforms i.e. AWS and Azure.
• Maintain additional infrastructure services such as printing and video conferencing.
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Implementation of technical change management activities.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of an operating model that reflects new ways of working.
• Investigate complex technical problems assigned to the team and engage others to assist in addressing such problems.
• Foster a positive culture within the ICT Services Branch, aligned with Agency values.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
