Victoria Police is tendering the General Duties Uniform worn by the majority of Victorian Police, Protective Services Officers (PSOs) and Police Custody Officers (PCOs) with the intent to appoint a single supplier for the entire scope of this tender if possible. The products are: Item 1 – The Ballistic Vest Undergarment is specifically designed to be worn under the Ballistic Vest. There are Winter and Summer variants in Salute colour for police and PSOs. PCOs wear Magnet colour variation. Item 2 –Tactical Trouser is a cargo style trouser with such features as removable knee pads and leg pockets. The garment is made up of ‘rip stop’ fabric to reduce risk of tear while also providing protection from scratches and abrasions. Item 3 - Office Shirts are provided to both existing personnel and recruits for operational, ceremonial and general administrative duties in Salute for Police and PSOs, Magnet for PCOs. Item 4 - Office Trousers are provided to both existing personnel and recruits and are suitable for operational, ceremonial and general administrative duties for police and PSOs in Salute.
