Dorado Development - FPSO and WHP - Lifeboats

⁠⁠⁠The Dorado Project is a greenfield oil development located offshore WA approximately 150km northwest of Port Hedland comprising of a Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO), Wellhead platform (WHP) and various subsea (SURF) equipment.

Equipment Particulars:

The scope of supply includes but is not limited to:

2 x 40 POB free-fall lifeboats consisting of the following;

 Diesel-driven, motor propelled TEMSC for tanker
 Capacity of each: 40 POB at 105kg/person, 53cm/person
 Glass fibre Reinforced Polyester (GRP)
 Freefall height: > 22m
 Release hook: Onload release (mechanical)
 Weather protecting canopy over access point
 Stainless steel fuel tanks
 Radio Equipment, comprising

o GMDSS complaint fixed VHF marine telephone
o Search and Rescue Transponder
o Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beason (EPIRB)
o Satellite Phone

2 x sets Lifeboat davit system consisting of the following:

 Hydraulically operated winching system for lifeboat retrieval after launch, maintenance or service without causing damage to lifeboat
 Hydraulic accumulator for manual override on power failure Design, manufacture, inspection and testing, installation support, commissioning, documentation, certification and warranty of free fall lifeboats and davit system

Pre-Qualification Requirements:

• Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in supply to the oil and gas industry.
• Must have a list of past offshore project experience and preferably in delivering to offshore Projects in Australian waters.
• Must have existing capability & capacity to deliver.
• Must have an ISO quality system and OSHAS or similar certifications.
• Must have storage capability for the manufactured products.

Must be able to provide after-sales services during operations in Australia

The equipment shall be in compliance with National, International and Industry Standards, Australian and WA Regulatory requirements including, but not limited to the following;

AMSA requirements to ensure regulatory compliance, including Australian Maritime Safety Authority- Marine Order 25 (Equipment — lifesaving) 2014.

DNV class rules, including DNVGL-RU-OU-0102, DNV Rules for Classification of Offshore Units – Floating Production Storage and Loading
Units.
