The review and investigation of the optimal utilisation of the Prahran Town Hall is required to ensure the delivery of a high-quality creative, cultural and community facility that supports social, cultural and economic prosperity. Council’s recently drafted Vision and Plan speak to a safe, inclusive and creative city that offers a respectful, modern, sustainable and interconnected way of life.

The review and investigation of the Prahran Town Hall redevelopment will recommend a number of clearly defined and articulated utilisation options that incorporate:

1. The themes and objectives of the Council Vision and Plan.
2. Data and analysis from a designed and implemented community and stakeholder engagement plan.
3. Reference and alignment with Council’s strategic aims and initiatives.
4. Contextualisation across the State and national creative and community sectors.
5. Comprehensive review and investigation of the Prahran Town Hall taking into consideration best practice and contemporary models.
