Albury Airport (ABX) is owned by Albury City Council and is located on the eastern side of Albury, approximately 700m from the VIC border and less than 10 minutes by vehicle from the Hume Highway.
In February 2009, Albury City Council resolved to establish an Albury Airport Users Advisory Committee (AAUAC). The principle objective of the AAUAC is to consider the views and ideas of all stakeholders in an advisory capacity to assist Albury City Council with the strategic and operational management of the airport.
The aim of this project is to review the governance structure of the ABX and provide recommendations for the future to ensure it supports and drives the achievement of the ABX strategic vision now and into the future.
