Tender Description
Rio Tinto require a supplier for a project to change out all the steel idlers on 5E conveyor (East Intercourse Island) to composite, low noise idlers.
This scope required the change out of approx. 10,400 idlers. The scope of work includes:
1. Mobilize to site and conduct prestart meeting/scope tasks/JHA's and setup equipment at task area.
2. Obtain relevant permits for works & other required task specific permits; (Working at Heights, WWH Gap, Confined Space)
3. Complete the idler change out using the SWP RTIO-HSE-0197192 or another approved method.
4. The scope will need to be complete in a specified shut window. It is essential the timing is managed to avoid over runs.
5. Rio Tinto to provide all materials. Tooling and equipment to be supplied by the vendor. The conveyor will need to be left in a safe and operational state for de isolation.
6. Lock off/sign off permit of isolation.
7. Demobilize from site.
