Tender Description
In March 2021 the MidCoast LGA suffered significant damage to the local infrastructure as a result of severe wet weather and flooding. The works proposed are being procured in accordance with the NSW Natural Disaster Essential Public Asset Restoration Guidelines.
MCC is seeking Tender offers from suitably experienced Civil Contractors, for the completion of slope stabilisation and road embankment rehabilitation at multiple locations along Scone Road, from Copeland up to the Barrington Tops National Forestry Reserve. Details of the proposed rectification measures for each of the sites are provided in the Tender Documents. The form of agreement proposed is a Lump sum design finalisation contract.
Interested respondents are to carefully review the attached RFT including tendering conditions and requirements; and provide responses to the 4 schedules included with the tender documents.
Tenderers are expected to provide confirmation of current insurance as referred to in cl 3.12 in the RFT.
Responses are due by 2pm on Thursday 25th November
Although the target is to let a contract before Christmas, this may be optimistic.
