The State of Queensland (acting through the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning and administered by Queensland Treasury) is offering private sector Proponents with relevant experience and capability the opportunity to express interest in the delivery of a new Queensland Government Marine Regional Office and associated facilities as returnable works, in return for the opportunity to secure a long-term lease and development rights to the “Village Gateway” development site at The Spit (Gold Coast, Queensland). The development site comprises proposed Lots 504 and 505 on WD5735 and adjoining seabed lease subject to Lot survey and registration.
This Competitive Bid Process (CBP) presents an exceptional opportunity to develop the last available waterfront residential site on The Spit located within the Gold Coast’s premier tourism, recreation and lifestyle precinct.
The opportunity is available for proposals that deliver maximum value to the State and delivery of returnable works whilst reflecting the aspirations and character of The Spit Master Plan and QDesign principles.
