Hobsons Bay City Council invites suitably and experienced contractors to submit a tender response for the Altona Foreshore Shared Path works and seawall - Webb to Sargood Street Altona
The Hobsons Bay Coastal Trail is Councils premier shared trail, traversing 23 kilometres of coastline. Approximately 670metres of shared trail will be widened to 6metres to deliver safe and sustainable passage for pedestrians and cyclists of all ages and abilities.
The indicative commencement date of the project is 14 February 2022 with Practical Completion being 30 June 2022.
Tenderers will initially be assessed against the following Mandatory Criteria
- public Liability insurance minimum $20 million
- compliance and acceptance of Conditions of Contract
- OH&S Policy and Procedures
- minimum 5 years experience in coastal or estuarine construction including key personnel and sub contractors using concrete and stone
- proposed detailed timeline for contruction to clearly identify all steps of proposed methodolgy that allows for project to be delivered safely, efficiently and considers impact to existing transport
