This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Training.gov.au (TGA) is the national register of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia. It is the single source of truth on accredited training packages and the registered training organizations (RTOs) that can deliver that training.
The Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) is conducting an enhancement project that will realise a future state for the national training register to deliver enhanced technology, infrastructure and system improvements capable of support VET reform activities.
DESE requires an agile project manager to lead the work. Responsibilities includes:
• Deliver the national training register enhancement project using an agile approach.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team and run the project on a day-to-day basis.
• Project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, risk management and reporting.
• Sprint planning and management.
• Develop and manage project benefits realisation plans.
• Define work packages and supervise delivery of technical specialists.
• Engage with stakeholders and staff to define requirements and build commitment.
• Collaborate with DESE internal IT areas to ensure compliance with DESE IT strategies, processes and approach.
• Build and manage relationship with the third party IT vendor to deliver outcomes for the project.
• Solve problems that arise during daily management of the project and provide a variety of options and alternatives that consider broader implications when escalating issues for resolution.
