Tender Description
The Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) is an independent advisory committee that provides oversight and advice on Council’s governance, audit, financial management, and strategic risk management functions.
The ARC comprises three independent members (including the Chair) and two Councillor representatives.
Council is looking to appoint an experienced independent member for an initial three year term, with one additional three year term that may be exercised.
We're seeking a candidate that can demonstrate requisite skills and experience in
- local government
- business information technology, and
- fraud and asset management.
Strong financial qualifications supported by wide general business experience will also be considered favourably.

Remuneration will be in line with local government practice at $6,098.52 (excl. GST) per annum, and indexed annually.
