The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority are seeking people with a broad range of ICT helpdesk and Cloud Migration project support skills. We are looking for highly adaptive and collaborative individuals that can solve technical problems and work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver ICT solutions and outcomes.
This role sits in the Agency’s Technology and Digital Services Section within the Corporate Services Branch. The Section is responsible for a range of functions including: ICT Strategy, development and maintenance of agency ICT products, information management, ICT business improvement initiatives and change and provide in-house technical advice
The User Support Officer will:
1. Provide timely user support via the Jira Helpdesk System for service request logging, problem diagnosis, co-ordination, resolution, escalation and queue management.
2. Ensure client hardware and printing infrastructure and related equipment are installed and operating effectively in accordance with standard work procedures.
3. Educate users on the use of GBRMPA systems and software. Develop user documentation and technical procedures to support the needs of Authority staff.
4. Provide level 1 and 2 technical support including SharePoint, group policy and custom in-house applications.
5. Contribute to a positive team culture by developing and fostering effective workplace relationships and sharing knowledge and learning.
