Merbein WWTP Diversion to Koorlong - Install Two Sewer Pumps Stations

Lower Murray Water is looking to engage a suitably qualified contract to install two sewer pump stations.

The intent of this project is to divert all wastewater from Merbein WWTP to the Koorlong WWTP. Which involves Installation of two pumps stations; SPS 10 and SPS 11 at the corner of Main Ave N and Whiting St and adjacent to Trade Waste Pump Station, Main Ave S, Merbein, respectively.

The works include, install LMW supplied pump wells, pumps, valve and flow meter pits, switchboard as per manufacturer specification. Additionally contractor to supply and install new manholes and pipework as per the design. SPS 10 will be installed by open cut excavation method. SPS 11 will be installed by Caisson Method. Works shall be performed in accordance with supplied design drawings, LMW specifications, WSSA Standards and Australian Standards.
