Tender Description
The department requires the services of a Senior Network SME to assist with the design, build and delivery of the ICT Remediation Program, specifically the following projects:
1. AWE Core Integration
2. LAN Switch replacement
3. Site Pattern development
4. AWE Wi-Fi
5. AWE SD WAN
6. Other projects under the ICT Remediation Program
The successful candidate will have recent and relevant knowledge and experience with the following:
• Networking technologies with specific expertise with Aruba and/or CISCO
• Enterprise level network design (Including switching, routers, firewalls, VPN, Gateways, network monitoring, WAN Acceleration etc)
• Enterprise Wi-Fi design, including Multisite, dual classification, captive portal etc
• SD WAN design and implementation
• Product Evaluation and Assessment Frameworks
• Distributed operational environments and their integration to a central management environment
• Design and Implementation of Service Management integration for the disparate projects
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Product evaluation and assessments
• Produce technical and non-technical roadmaps
• Produce designs to meet the stated requirements
• Documenting and/or evaluating proposed solutions
• Developing implementation plans and run sheets
• Working with the Department vendors to deliver the required outcome
• Documenting as-built/as-configured
• Documenting and running changes (start to finish) under the ITIL framework
• Updating and maintaining the Department’s documentation and management tools
