- The potential opportunity presented by this Competitive Bid Process (CBP) is an exceptional opportunity to develop the last available beachfront site on The Spit located within the Gold Coast’s premier tourism, recreation and lifestyle precinct.
- The State of Queensland (acting through the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning and administered by Queensland Treasury) is offering private sector Proponents with relevant experience and capability the opportunity to express interest in developing, and becoming the long term lessee of a development site in the “Village Centre’ precinct at The Spit (Gold Coast, Queensland) comprising proposed Lot 319 on SP325712 (part of existing Lot 318 on WD800475), known as Village East Resort.
- The opportunity is available for proposals that deliver maximum value to the State whilst realising the intent of The Spit Master Plan.
