Tender Description
Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors forthe supply and installation of replacement Sodium Hypochlorite (Hypo) dosing systems for disinfection purposes at four (4) Wastewater Treatment Plants across Cairns, namely:
- Southern Wastewater Treatment Plant (SWWTP),
- Northern Wastewater Treatment Plant (NWWTP),
- Edmonton Wastewater Treatment Plant (EWWTP); and
- Marlin Coast Wastewater Treatment Plant (MCWWTP).
The existing systems will be replaced with a standardised dosing panel arrangement, with new smart digital dosing pumps. The dosing panels shall be fitted to dosing cupboards for improved safety, and shall incorporate Councils newly adopted Isolation and Testing procedures, which includes arrangements to test for positive isolation of localised areas
