Tender Description
Warrnambool City Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to enter into a contract for the provision of the Bushfield Recreation Reserve (BRR) – Power and Lighting Upgrade.
Designs have been completed to work with existing conditions and infrastructure onsite, with the required upgrades to be completed in accordance.
The Services includes the power and lighting upgrade in line with the detailed design plans (Refer Volume 3). These works include:
1.Construction Management Plan
- Details of Public Safety, Amenity Considerations and Site Security,
- Traffic Management Plan (where required),
- Environmental Management Plan (EMP),
- Construction Program,
- Evidence of relevant Council approvals and insurance required to undertake works,
- Dilapidation Report,
- Cultural Heritage Protection Plan compliance.Site management including quality, OHS, and environmental control

Demolition
- Demolish and remove two (2) existing lighting poles.
- Demolish redundant electrical equipment (conduit, cabling, and internal switchboards).
- Demolish existing MSB upon completion of changeover, once confirmed redundancy.
Lighting Upgrade
Construct all associated works including:
- 4 (four) new 25m football light towers and associated infrastructure.
- 4 (four) new 10m netball light towers and associated infrastructure.
- 2 (two) existing pole on western side of oval to be reconfigured to suit 3 phase upgrade as required.
- Inclusion of 2 (two) protective bollards around each pole.
Power Upgrade
New Main Switchboard (MSB) on property boundary to support Powercor works, including associated mains.
New Main Distribution Board (MDB) at the rear of change rooms to service lighting and power upgrades, including associated submains.
Replace existing Distribution Board (DB) within BRR Hall.
Replace existing DB at netball court change rooms.
New DB at existing bore pump location.
New DB at new tank location.
New DB at new bore pump location.
Liaison with Powercor regarding tie-in of supply upgrade (3-phase, 400amps/phase).
As-constructed Details - Provide as-constructed information as required.
Site Reinstatement
Removal of all debris and reinstate the site as per detailed design.
Maintenance warranties and certificates of compliance.
5. 12 month defect maintenance period
6. Participate in completion reporting
