We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst/Business Analyst (BA) with strong technical expertise to be part of the Class Allocation project working with the Information Technology Services (ITS) division.

The project’s current primary focus is to implement the Class Allocation (Software as a Service) system for Students and Staff in Colleges/Schools. The system implementation will commence in September 2021.

The SA/BA will work in collaboration with project resources, business teams, ITS technical teams and working closely with an external vendor to document the SAAS solution design including system integrations for the Class Allocation system. This will include, but is not limited to:

• Reviewing the documentation of business, functional and non-functional requirements to inform relevant system design and build activities as required for the integration of the Class Allocation system with existing systems in the IT environments;

• Working with project resources, business owners, technical staff and the system vendor to document, analyse and agree on IT system integrations for the Class Allocation system;

• Reviewing and evaluating solution documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and alignment against requirements;

• Developing technical documents, walking business and technical stakeholders through reviews of the documents and securing signoff of the documents;

• Reviewing current-state environments and accurately documenting ‘To-be’-state IT environments across Service Divisions (e.g. IT, Colleges and Schools)

• Communicating technical concepts to IT and non-IT staff and executives to achieve project outcomes;

• Leading engagements with various stakeholder groups across the following spaces, executives, professional staff (e.g. IT, Business Area, Staff and School Administrators) and academics (e.g. Course conveners and researchers);
