RFP for the Provision of General Insurance Coverage and Services 2022

⁠⁠⁠Australian Catholic University (ACU) was established in 1990 through incorporation as a public company limited by guarantee, incorporated pursuant to the Corporations Act. ACU is a public university, funded by the Commonwealth Government, and is open to students and staff of all religious beliefs. ACU has a number of research institutes and four (4) faculties: Education and Arts, Health Sciences, Law and Business and Theology and Philosophy. The University has upwards of 30,000 students and around 2,300 staff spread across nine (9) campuses: Melbourne, Ballarat, Strathfield, North Sydney, Blacktown, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Rome. Headquarters are located in North Sydney.

Through this Request for Proposal process, ACU is seeking proposals for general insurance coverage and services, from providers with sufficient detailed higher education knowledge, as well as knowledge of specific insurance policy areas, and coverage requirements for each of the below listed policies. ACU’s current insurance policies expire on 31 October 2021 (1 November 2020 to 31 October 2021) and comprise:
