Transportation of drilling samples

⁠⁠⁠Scope of Works:

Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) Resource Development generates approximately 400,000 RC and core sample across the Pilbara annually to provide data for orebody knowledge programs supporting the short, medium- and long-term business mine plans. The current process is difficult to manage where samples are not only sometimes delivered incorrectly, they are also delivered in inconsistent time periods and volumes. Smooth even supply distribution helps deliver constant lab loadings that allow for consistent quality assurance processes and quality at the lab as well as timely turn around times for assay receipt back to RTIO.

RTIO Resource Development would like to take this opportunity to engage a supplier to provide 2-3 trucks and floats that could perform circular weekly collection and deliveries between the Pilbara and Perth to manage the sample distribution process.
