Tender Description
The Contract is for all works associated with the construction of a new access road and car-park, including all labour, materials and equipment. Please note that the culvert crossing and the open drain has been installed and the access road and car-park area has been partly constructed to assist with the construction of the new indoor stadium. Grated pits GP1, GP2 and endwall EW1 and the associated pipework will also be installed by the previous contract.. The Contractor will be required to remove the red gravel pavement from the partly
constructed areas, re-work the surface of the sub-base 1 layer and then place the base A layer and hotmix over these areas.The Drawings showing the extent of the previous work has been included for information.
The Works include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following items:
- set out works and confirm dimensions;
- traffic management including all temporary barriers and signage
- Stripping, trim and compact formation
- supply and compaction of imported fill
- supply and compaction of pavement gravels
- supply and compaction of asphalt including line marking and pavement arrows
- supply and installation of a grated pit and stormwater pipe
- supply and forming concrete pathways including access ramps
- supply and forming concrete kerbs and guttering
- supply and installations of traffic signs and DA bollards
- clean up of site including reinstating fences and seeding soiled areas;
- twelve months maintenance after Practical Completion
