Tender Description
Yass Valley Council manages an extensive road network of over 1,200km throughout the Local Government Area (LGA). Council has received funding under the NSW Governments Fixing Local Roads (FLR) grant funding program, and intends to rehabilitate a number of local roads to provide an improved road surface, improve the serviceability of the roads, and improve safety.
Council has identified Yass River Road Segment 5B & 6, Faulder Avenue Segment 1, Walls Junction Road Segment 2 and Good Hope Road Segment 9 for upgrade in the second stage of his project. These nominated sections of road are generally in poor condition and have reached the end of their useful lives.
Mandatory tender briefing/site inspection: 1:00pm on Monday, 23 August 2021, commencing at Yass Junction Railway Station on Faulder Avenue.
