Tender Description
EQL invite your organisation to participate in a selection process for the provision of the Energy Queensland SEP2 Utility Server (“Utility Server”) that will make up part of Energy Queensland’s Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS).
The Utility Server should facilitate communication with customer Distributed Energy Resources (“DER Clients”) over the public internet using the SEP2 / IEEE 2030.5 (1) communications protocol and conform with the Common Smart Inverter Profile (CSIP) (2) requirements as a minimum.
Energy Queensland (EQL) intends to have an operational Utility Server in place to communicate with a small subset of DER Clients by early 2022 as part of the ongoing Dynamic Operating Envelope (DOE) trials and dynamic connection agreement roll out. New DER Clients from targeted customer groups will then be continued to be added from 2022 onwards, once full implementation details and connection standards have been finalised.
