Tender Description

Queensland Rail’s train fleet is currently washed at a train car washing facility located at Normanby in inner city Brisbane, known as the Normanby Car Wash Facility (NCWF). The facility is located on what is known as the Exhibition Loop that runs between Roma Street Station and the Mayne Stabling Yard at Bowen Hills. As part of the NCWF upgrade works, upgrades are required to the car wash building, rail corridor and water treatment and recycling plant. The purpose of this tender is to engage a suitably qualified contractor to deliver these works.

Tender Briefing

Tenderers are invited to attend a virtual (via Microsoft Teams) briefing session:

Thursday 12 August 2021 at 2pm

Queensland Rail’s Project Manager for this project will provide an overview of the Normanby Car Wash Building & Corridor Upgrades. An overview of the tendering process will also be provided by the Nominee, Kaitlyn Coombes. Please RSVP to Kaitlyn Coombes.

Site Inspection

Time: 0800hrs

Date: 19 August 2020

Location: Normanby Car Wash

This inspection will also enable the Tenderer to raise any queries concerning the proposed Works in writing by submitting it to the Procurement Officer, Kaitlyn Coombes.
