Overview
The City of Gold Coast is conducting an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the construction of the Pimpama Operational Depot.
Purpose
This EOI is being undertaken to:
- Confirm market interest, capability and capacity to deliver the Pimpama Operational Depot
- Understand contractor availability and delivery approach
- Identify contractors with relevant experience in depot, industrial or operational facility construction
- Obtain early market input on constructability, staging and program considerations
- Assess local presence and ability to support value for money outcomes
- Shortlist suitably qualified respondents for a subsequent Select Tender process
Scope
The project involves the upgrade and expansion of the existing Pimpama Operational Depot, including the delivery of a new State Emergency Service (SES) facility within the site. The scope includes:
- Operational and administrative facilities
- Hardstand and pavement areas
- Internal roads
- Parking
- Site access upgrades
- Security infrastructure
- Associated services
