Position Purpose
The Portfolio Director – Integration is responsible for planning and managing the delivery of a portfolio of projects focusing on the integration of the NDIA’s core systems. The technical project delivery may be through either the Agency’s shared service provider (Service Australia), other third party vendors or directly via OCIO technical staff.

Duties include some or all of the following:
• Provide strategic oversite of the overall portfolio of work being undertaken.
• Establish a collaborative working culture and environment within the OCIO project team, Service Australia and other third party vendors as required.
• Establish effective working relationships with project sponsors and relevant business teams to ensure smooth implementation and effective engagement in project delivery.
• Plan and manage periodic program, project and stakeholder review meetings (as per agreed communications and governance models) to ensure up to date communication of program and project status.
• Ensure all projects are appropriately planned including agreed project scope, business requirements and acceptance criteria
• Manage the completion of projects, delivering to agreed requirements, cost, timescales and quality.
• Identify, assess and manage project dependencies, risks and issues and escalation appropriately as circumstances dictate.
• Develop and maintain realistic program schedules and resourcing plans for the whole project lifecycle
• Provide regular and accurate reports to stakeholders including the Strategic Projects Branch Leadership, ICT Committee and CIO as required by circumstances and the project communications plan.
